Ⅲ.句式归纳

1．Write a letter to him or her giving information about what life will be like．给他／她写一封信，

让他／她了解生活将会是什么样的。

  What ... be like?“……像什么／怎么样／什么样子?”like为介词，what充当其宾语。

  [注意]

  be like 意为“像”，既可指外表，又可指内在的品质。类似的短语还有：

  look like 看起来像……

  feel like 感觉像……

2.how easy or difficult it will be to make friends；交朋友将会是多么容易或难；

  这是一个it作形式主语的句型，真正的主语是其后的不定式。类似的结构还有：

  It is／seems／feels+adj+to do ...

  It is + n．+to do ...

  ①It’s + adj. +for sb. to do ...

    在此句型中，只说明某人做某事如何，不说明某人的特点及品质。常见的形容词有

    easy，hard，difficult，important，necessary，possible，impossible，likely等。

  ②It’s + adj．+of sb．to do...此结构不仅说明某人的行为如何，而且说明某人的特点及品质。
